Nightingale’s theory, with its emphasis on the environmental effects on health, could guide CHN. The researcher developed, implemented, and analyzed a CHN course grounded on Nightingale. The research subjects’ positive perceptions confirmed the researcher’s belief that there is a need for theory, specifically Nightingale’s, in baccalaureate nursing education.
