Abstract
The study gives emphasis to health teaching among Filipino mothers through the utilization of short message system (SMS) and distribution of pamphlets. The results suggest significant improvement in the cognitive scores of the control group and experimental group. Findings shows that SMS and pamphlets are comparable in disseminating health information.
