Abstract
Understanding the importance of self-reported self-efficacy for clinical skills can help nurse educators improve strategies for developing competence in nursing education. Studies show a strong, positive relationship between an objective measure of self-efficacy and clinical skills competence among different ethnic groups of newly graduated nurses.
