Abstract
The elements of uncertainty, change, and the unknown influence the challenges of accreditation. Previous practice viewed accreditation as rush of activity and anxiety initiated 18 - 24 months before a visit. Moving to a continuous process of of evaluation in the current climate has been a major paradigm shift.
