This research study assessed the mental health needs of participants in Bondeau, Haiti and demonstrated the usefulness of a theoretical perspective grounded in caring science. The development of collaborative partnerships and relationships fostered a trusting environment to assess participant’s severity of depression, anxiety and resilience.
