Special Session presented on: Sunday, November 17, 2013:
This presentation will discuss the current status regarding nurses in Executive Leadership roles in various healthcare settings, including statustics and demographics. It will discuss the support to assume leadership roles at the board level and in other settings made through the IOM Future of Nursing report, and will identify expectations, as well as skill sets, background, knowledge and abilities required to effectively succeed in Executive Leadership positions.
