Leadership (Academic and Board)
Here you will find research, educational, and evidence-based practice materials authored by nurses with extensive knowledge in the academic setting and intended to address issues of interest in leadership and governance. This collection will disseminate materials of specific importance to nurses whose interest is in academic governance and/or positions on boards of directors.
Topics that can be found within this collection may include, but are not limited to:
Evaluation of Leadership Skills; General Leadership Skills Development; Goal Development and Planning; Human Resource Issues; Mentoring; Models of Care; Navigating Tenure; Relationship Management; Strategic Networking; Any leadership research not specifically tied to a clinical area.
Prior to an item’s inclusion in this collection it has been through a peer-review process conducted by experienced nursing researchers. The collection contains full-text submissions, some of which may be embargoed for a period of time to allow the author to pursue traditional publishing options.
