Abstract

The aim of this presentation is to discuss the role of the nurse in policy development and implementation. Secondarily, we will explore using the online café to establish a process for those interested in sharing experiences and ideas that will support all nurses as they journey to accept this role.

Learning Outcomes:

1. Upon completion the learner will become more curious

2. Identify questions for oneself and for the presenter related to support policy development and implementation

3. Upon completion, the learner will have a shift in perspective and will think differently than prior to the educational offering
