Session 4: Nurse Leaders Virtual Summit April 2023

Abstract

<p>The purpose of the Nurse Leader Virtual Summit is to provide an avenue for nurse leaders from various Sigma Academies and Nightingale Challenge to disseminate their leadership journey.</p> <p>This session features Karen Gorton, PhD, MS, RN, FNP​. Dr. Gorton came to nursing as a second professional career. She found that the opportunity to interact with patients, collaboratively problem solve and to make a difference was a good fit for her.
