The goal of this presentation is to educate nurses and nursing professionals on the significance of preventive oral healthcare behaviors that contribute to reducing the incidence of oral disease as the causal factor of systemic infections, inflammatory injury, and end-organ damage.
Learning Outcomes:
1. Identify good verses bad oral health
2. Define preventive oral healthcare practices
3. Recognize the signs and symptoms of oral disease and disparities
4. Causal effect of systemic infections, and diseases like diabetes
