Nurses recognize the importance of developing and maintaining documentation in the clinical and academic arena; however, we often fail to keep such important documentation about our own professional accomplishments. In this webinar we will discuss the differences between a resume, a curriculum vitae, and a portfolio. We will also examine the need for and components of a professional nursing portfolio. This engaging presentation will review the multiple ways to present and track your professional accomplishments, including paper-based, web-based, online, and hybrid portfolios. We will discuss several uses for your career repository noting what to include to document your career identity and professional personality.
