This session discusses the opportunities that are opening for nurses that are “outside” the traditional nursing roles, as well as how to locate and prepare for these roles. Another focus of our conversation will be how to share or “import” the voice of the nurse into these roles to advance nursing and meet role expectations.
Learning Outcomes:
- Describe non-traditional nursing roles and companies that may employ these unique roles.
- Compare non-traditional roles compared to more traditional nursing roles.
- Articulate how to find contemporary, non-traditional roles.
