Nursing education institutions adopt curriculum innovation to improve quality of graduates. Various sound reasons underpin the need for innovations, however their implementation and sustainability present challenges especially in resource-limited settings. This presentations outlines a journey towards the adoption of competency-based nursing education in a low-resource setting in Africa.
