Nursing students globally are facing a time of great unpredictability. “What exactly is the rest of the semester going to look like?” “When will I be able to resume my clinicals with actual patients?” “I didn’t sign up for online courses, but now everything in my education is online.” Nursing students will reflect on the uncertainties they are experiencing during the COVID-19 pandemic. Strategies for prioritizing competing concerns will be presented to help promote continued academic success in the months ahead. This webinar is specifically designed for nursing students who will continuing their formal education after the spring 2020 semester.
Webinar Objectives:
- Describe different types of grief from a nursing student perspectives
- Identify strategies for responding to loss amidst the COVIC-19 pandemic
- Develop mechanisms to prioritize competing challenges and uncertainties
- Explore methods to ensure continued academic success in a time of unpredictable change
