Abstract
Now completed, the Arista series, an initiative of the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International, was designed to bring the best thinking to bear in confronting health issues of global significance, providing a multinational, interdisciplinary platform from which to influence the change of nursing practice. The Arista think-tank meetings, named for the Greek word meaning “the brightest,” assembled experts and reactors to converse, debate, find
consensus and develop strategies for the future of nursing in an era of continuing health sector reform.
