Participants will understand the challenges inherent in healthcare delivery in rural Tanzania. A program designed to provide health screenings for hypertension and diabetes will be discussed as it was implemented by nursing students in Tanzania. Methods for collaboration with local community leaders in Tanzania will be discussed.
