Abstract

This innovative learning strategy describes a simulation with senior nursing students that involved an unfolding case study which transitioned from a patient with mental health issues to a patient with an acute medical condition. This exercise resulted from collaborative efforts among nursing faculty with mental health and adult health expertise.
