Abstract
This quality improvement project aimed to explore corneal abrasion, a severely painful and preventive complication of anesthetized patients. Effective eye protection during surgery is imperative, yet clinician prevention strategies vary. A perioperative staff educational program was done to prevent corneal abrasion and its negative impact on patient outcomes.
