Presenters from two separate hospitals will discuss the origin and initial outcomes of collaborative service-academic partnerships to overcome barriers to conducting nursing research in clinical settings. Early impact includes the development of supportive infrastructure to increase nurse engagement and empowerment to advance a culture of inquiry.
