Clinical nurses are frequently hired as part time clinical faculty. Novice nurse educators require a formal orientation program to bridge the transition. A hybrid orientation model was utilized and results from a pre/post survey demonstrate increased levels of competence and confidence in evaluation and teaching methodology.
