Abstract
Study examined shortage of expert nephrology nurses and patient quality indicators. It collected data from dialysis units on nursing tenure,experience, education, and certification. Units with higher levels of experience had lower anemia levels and a higher dialysis adequacy levels. Units with higher level of education had lower facility mortality rates.
