Technology Informatics Guiding Education Reform (TIGER) - Resource Papers
The TIGER (Technology Informatics Guiding Education Reform) Initiative began as a grassroots initiative within the nursing community in 2006, with support from over 70 contributing organizations including the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), two grants from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and a personal endowment. Previously a standalone Foundation, TIGER transitioned into the HIMSS structure effective September 22, 2014 and is supported by the HIMSS Professional Development department. The TIGER materials enclosed in this repository serve as a catalyst to expand knowledge and skillset when it comes to important health IT and informatics concepts, competencies, topics, and terminology. It is our hope that these materials will assist those who are new to the field, those who are seeking degrees and/or advanced career opportunities, and all those who comes in-between.
Copyright to materials posted in this collection remain vested with TIGER or the individual authors as noted in each record.
